King Tuesday, 10 June 1941, Wellington Daily News Born September 10, 1862 in Marshall, Illinois. He came with his parents to Cowley Co, Kansas when a small boy. He came to Wellington in 1897. He married in 1891 at Dallas, Texas, to Estele Williams. They had 3 children, 2 died in infancy. He is survived by his son, Burns King of Wellington and 2 grandsons, Robert and Clifford. He worked for Santa Fe and later for Glamann Bros. Ice and Cold Storage. In recent years he has not been able to work. Funeral services were at the Frank Funeral Home at Monday at 3: 30 p.m. Christian minister, Rev. L. S. Sargent, was in charge. Burial in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
