Marriage of Everett White and Hattie Meredith - SANGAMON, CHRISTIAN Counties, Illinois Taken from one of the following newspapers - Springfield, Pawnee, Edinburg or Taylorville, 1904. White - Meredith Invitations were received here for the wedding of Miss Hattie Meredith, of New City, and Everett E. White, of Pawnee, the ceremony being performed Tuesday evening, August 23, at Zion M.E. church by the pastor. Miss Meredith is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Christopher Meredith, of near New City, and she is an accomplished musician, playing the violin very well as an amateur. Mr. White is the oldest son of Hiram White, proprietor of a valuable farm estate in South Fork township and one time president of the Pawnee railroad. He is also a nephew of J. R. Sharp and Mrs. Mamie White of this city and Mrs. Stokes, of Edinburg.
