Obituary. . . Springfield, IL



Springfield -- Samuel L. Buddemeier, 60, of Springfield, formerly of

Sidney, died at 1 a.m. Thursday (May 5, 1977) at memorial Medical

Center, Springfield.



Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bisch Funeral Home,

Springfield.  Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery,

Springfield.



Visitation will be from be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.



Mr. Buddemeier was born July 9, 1916 at Sidney, a son of Samuel A. and

Jadobina Dalh Buddemeier.  He married Peggy Hill Harper September 1969. 

She survives.  



Also surviving are four daughters, Debra Clapp of Champaign, Karyl Short

of Jerseyville, Heide Carroll of Springfield, and Jessica Sue Schwalbe

of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur of

Champaign and Merle of Longview, and a sister, Louise Ray of Urbana.



Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
