The Rev. Floyd Cummings of the Church of the Nazarene officiated and interment was at Riverside cemetery. Mr. Malone was born October 31, 1897, in Fairbury, Neb., where he was reared and attended school. He was married February 14, 1923, in Holdredge, Neb., to Bertha Bunney, and they farmed for several years at Reagan, Neb. They moved to Atlanta, Neb., in 1929, and to Fruitland, in 1934. They farmed at Star from 1935 to 1940, when they returned to Fruitland. They had lived at Payette since 1942, and he had been station attendant at Payette for the Mutch Oil Co., of Ontario for the past 13 years. He is survived by his wife, Bertha; three sons, Harry Lee Malone of Payette and McCall, Paul William Malone of Mountain Home, and Roger Wayne Malone of New Plymouth, and 10 grandchildren.
