Albion-The General News November 18, 1898
 It will be highly gratifying to Miss Katie Olivers Albion friends to know that 
she has been elected county superintendent of schools in and for Ada county.
 Miss Oliver was a member of the graduating class of June,1896,of the Albion 
Normal school.She graduated with high honors.Afterwards she was given a place 
in the Hailey high school,which position she was holding  at the time of her 
election.
Miss Oliver is a typical western girl-full of energy,ambition,high spirited and 
animated with aspiratious to reach the highest round of the ladder,she will yet 
make her name be known and The Genral News extends its warmest congratulations.
