"Barney" Barnett Sr., 62. New Meadows, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 2p.m. Saturday at the New Meadows Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Leonard Crogh assited by the Rev. Duane Buhler. Interment will be at Meadows Valley cemetery under the direction of Walker Chapel, McCall. Mr. Barnett was born March 21, 1910, at Blackwater, Va. He married Christeen Dunn on Feb. 11, 1935, at Skiatook, Okla. They came to Weiser in 1944 and had lived in New Meadows since 1947. He worked in the lumber industry until retirement last year due to ill health. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors, besides his wife of New Meadows, include six sons, Raymond, Jim, Ensley and Chris Barnett, all of New Meadows. Ernie Barnett, with the Navy at Millington, Tenn., and Paul Barnett, at home: three daughters, Mrs. Rosetta Krahn, Boise. Mrs. Shirley Brown, McCall and Anita Barnett, at home: six brothers, Bill, Ola, Antwine and Anderson Barnett, all of Tulsa Okla., Ira Barnett, Baker, Ore., and Aughty Barnett, Lamont, Calif.: four sisters, Mrs. Ada Dunn, New Meadows. Mrs. Donna Miller, Weiser, Mrs. Mary Jensen, Ontario, Ore., Mrs. Bernice Haines, Tulsa, Okla.; and 13 grandchildren. A grandaughter preceded him in death.
