Knight, 76, of 3789 Clacton Way, who died December 9, 1981, in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Relyea Mortuary by Pastor Bill Williams of King of Glory Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Dry Creek Cemetery. He was born January 23, 1905, in Clear Lake, South Dakota. He graduated from Meridan High School in 1923. He married Odessa B. Daharsh on May 15, 1931, in New Plymouth. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 1935. He was farm superintendent for the University of Idaho in Sandpoint and Aberdeen from 1935-51. He operated a cattle ranch in Loomis, Washington, from 1952-58. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1958 and he worked for the Idaho Crop Improvement Association until 1961. He was pilot farm director for Resources Development Corp. in Iran from 1961-63. They farmed in Salmon from 1963 until he retired in 1972, and then they moved to Boise. Survivors include his wife and a son, Lawrence L., both of Boise; three brothers, Ray of New Plymouth and Lynn and Kenneth, both of Boise; a sister, Ruth Brandel of Boise; and five grandchildren.
