        Florence Petersen, 82, of Moorhead died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1993, at a 
Sioux City hospital.
	
	Mrs. Petersen was born Jan. 21, 1911, in Spring Valley Township, rural 
Moorhead, the daughter of Lewis Christian and Lizzie Anna (Moller) Flint.   On 
Dec. 23, 1929, she married Thorvald Petersen in rural Moorhead.  
	
	Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Dorothy Jepson of 
Onawa, Arliss Anderson of Le Mars and Donna Meierotto of Indian Hills, Colo.; 
a son, Duane and his wife, Dixie of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Vail and Carol Flint of Las 
Animas, Colo. and Floyd and Lucille Flint of Woodbine; and a sister, Irene 
Peterson and her husband, Elwood of Little Sioux.
	She was preceded in death by a son, Norman; two brothers, Ralph and 
Glen; two sons-in-law, Magnus Jepson and LeRoy Anderson; and a grandson, David.
