St. Ansgar Enterprise August 1902
Mrs. Wm. Feldt (Julia Schmidt) of Rock township, died very suddenly from the 
effects of a stoke of paralysis August 7th and was buried August 10th.  She was 
around, apparently as well as ever, until the day before her death, when she 
was suddenly stricken down with paralysis and never rallied.  She was 58 years 
of age, having been born in Germany.  The funeral was one of the largest ever 
held in that section.

Julia Schmidt Feldt was the submitter's paternal great-grandmother
