	Edward Weed, 66, of Ute, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at a Sioux City 
hospital.
	
	Mr. Weed was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Ute, the son of Bernard and Goldie 
(McNees) Weed.  
	
	Survivors include a brother, Joseph and his wife, Joyce, of Ute; a 
niece, Dee Anna Jo Weed of Ames; two nephews, Joseph C. Weed and his wife, 
Cindy of Ute and Randall Jay Weed and his wife, Lori of Charter Oak; four 
grandnieces, Courtney, Candice, Carmen and Elyse and a grandnephew, Colby Weed.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
