Russell H. Hearn "Red the Barber"
     Age 68, of Okeechobee (Buckhead Ridge), Fla. and formerly of Ashburn, Ga. 
and W. Palm Bch., Fla., died Thursday, January 26, 1995 following a brief 
illness.  He was born in Wilcox Co., Ga. on Feb. 10, 1926 and was a barber for 
40 years following his service in the Navy during WWII.  Memberships include 
the Buckhead Ridge Baptist Church and the V.F.W.
     Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Virginia Weeks Hearn; 
sons, Russ (Mary Beth) Hearn of Butler, Pa. and Jim (Dixie) Hearn of W. Palm 
Beach, Fla.; daughter, Jenny (Terry) Jones of High Springs, Fla.; sisters, 
Reba (Noah) Green of Lake City, Fla., Hildred (Walt) Seaman of Willison, Fla. 
and Blanche (Byron) Adams of W. Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Allison, 
Maureen, and Patrick Hearn of Butler, Pa., Jake and Sara Jones of High 
Springs, Fla. and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
     Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 28, 1995 at Dorsey 
Funeral Home, 3525 S. Congress Ave., Lake Worth, Fla.  Friends may call 2-3 
p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995 at buckhead Ridge Baptist Church, Hunter Rd., 
Buckhead Ridge, Fla. after which funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with 
the Rev. Richard Postell officiating.  Inurnment [sic] will be held at a later 
date at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Abbeville, Ga.  Those planning an expression of 
sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Buckhead Baptist 
Church Building Fund in memory of "Red."
