Opal Moore Sekelsky -

Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Moore Sekelsky, 80, of
Cochran who died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, will be held at
2P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2007 in Elsharath Baptist
Church. Burial will be in Elsharath Cemetery. 

Mrs. Sekelsky was born in Twiggs County, the daughter of
the late John Patrick Moore, Sr. and Erlene Padgett Moore.
She was the widow of Andrew Joseph Sekelsky, Sr. She had
lived in Washington, DC for 34 years before moving back to
Twiggs County in 1988. 

Preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Williams. -
Survivors include an son, Joseph Sekelsky, Jr. of
Gaithersburg, MD;  brother, Welton (Bud) Moore of Cochran;
four sisters, Bertha Whisinand of Warner Robins, Murriel
Meadows of Macon, Edith Smith of Jeffersonville and Hazel
Mullis of Cochran.
