DC# 017050) and is buried at Mt. Zion. Her first husband, George B. Newby, is also buried at Mt. Zion and her second husband, John Walter Phillips is buried at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. From The Macon Telegraph 3-26-1997 Page 4B Mozelle Phillips DANVILLE---Services for Mozelle L. Newby Phillips will be at 3PM Thursday in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church, Twiggs County, with burial in Mount Zion Baptist Church cemetery. Phillips, 81, died Tuesday at her residence. A lifelong resident of Twiggs County, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Lou Chance Little. The widow of George Newby, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Patricia Kitchens and Frank Newby, both of Macon; Rhonda Hamrick, Bradley Nemby, and Kenny Newby, all of Jeffersonville; and Wallace Newby of Dry Branch; brother, Elder J. F. Little of Danville; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in Reece Funeral Home.
