The Rev. Sherman Hall and the Rev. Mike Farmer will officiate and interment is in Salem Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Smith died July 8 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 1, 1915 in Thomas County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Relous and Mary Alice Hart Hobbs. On Dec. 1, 1935, she married J. L. Smith, who preceded her in death. Following his death, she married Eason Earl Smith on June 24, 1957, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Moultrie. Survivors include sons and daughters-in- law, Thomas V. and Vera Smith, Daniel L. and Christine Smith, Alan L. and Bonnie Smith all of Pavo; daughters and sons-in-law, Janell and Donald Hendrix of Lakeland, Fla., Mary and Jack Brown of Boston, Lynda Wester of Thomasville; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Johnnie Hobbs; brother-in-law, Cecil Bozeman both of Pavo; niece, Sharon Synhoff of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepdaughters, Alvis and Jesse Sisco of Lexington, S.C.; Earline and Jim Peebles of Albany and Mary Reddick of Statesboro. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Jean Smith; a sister, Lorene Bozeman and a brother, Freddie Hobbs. Memorials may be made to the Center for the Visually Impaired, 739 W. Peachtree St., N.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30308; Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, 116 Mimosa Drive, Thomasville, GA. 31792 or to the American Heart Association, c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, Ga. 31799. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The family will be gathering at the family home.
