That I should make a disposalization of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. I therefore make this my last will and testament hereby marking and annulling all others heretofore made by me. Item First- I desire and direct that my body be ______ in a decent and Chrisitian like manner __________ to ____________ circumstances and condition - my love I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it and hope for eternal salvation through the blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed and as I humbly strict enjoyed for fourteen years. Item Second- I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my executors hereinofter named as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed of their rights especially as there is no necessity for delay. Item Third- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy, with whom I have lived in the strictest quiet and love for forty one years, for and during her natural life- lot of land number one hundred and fifty one in the twentieth district of Stewart County containing three hundred acres about two hundred and forty which is _____________ and in cultivation with all the rights members and appurtenance of said land in any _____________ appertaining or ________________. I also give and bequeath my wife in the same manner the farming utentials used on and belonging to said plantation of every description whatever and four horses and one mule, all of my cows and calves - my stock of hogs - stock of sheep - all the corn and fodder belonging to said plantation, all of my household and kitchen furniture belonging to said plantation. Item Fourth- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife for and during her natural life my negro man Hector about fifty years of age, negro woman Lindy about thirty years of age, negro man Bill about twenty eight years of age, negro girl Harriet about twelve years of age and my negro woman Lidy known as my cook. Item Fifth- I give and bequeath at the death of my wife to my daughter Mary Mayberry and her children by her present husband or any future husband a part of the property given in the third item to my wife during her natural life. To wit one half of lot of land number one hundred and fifty one in the twentieth district of Stewart County which will contain one hundred and fifty acres with all the rights members and appurtenances to said land in any _________ appertaining or belonging. My son David Bowers I appoint trustee of this property. Item Sixth- I give and bequeath at the death of my wife to my daughter Martha Bowers a part of the property given in the third item to my wife during her natural life. To wit one half of lot of land number one hundred and fifty one in the twentieth district of Stewart County which will contain one hundred and fifty acres with the rights members and appurtenances to said land in any __________ appertaining or belonging. My son David Bowers I appoint trustee of this property. Item Seventh- I devise that after the death of my wife the property given in the fourth item to my wife during her natural life to wit my negro man Hector about fifty years of age, my negro woman Lindy about thirty years of age, my negro man Bill about twenty eight years of age, my negro girl Harriet about twelve years of age, my negro woman Lidy known as my cook and the remainder of the property in the third item, to wit the farming utentials used on and belonging to said plantation of every description whatever, four horses and one mule, all of the stock of cattle, stock of hogs, stock of sheep, corn and fodder belonging to said plantation, the household and kitchen furniture belonging to said plantation. I desire and ___________ after the death of my wife, that all of the last inventoried property be sold and equally divided between all of my heirs with one exception a part or certain portion going to my son John I desire that my grand daughter Keziah be furnished with a bed and bedstead and provision them out of a part of his portion (sic) said property. Item Eight- I constitute and appoint my beloved wife Nancy Executrix and my son David Bowers Executor of this my last will and testament this May 27th 1852.
