Stroud at his home near Gadsden, Ala., last Friday. He was 93 years old. Mr. Stroud served in the Creek Indian Wars and was a Confederate veteran. He leaves a wife to whom he has been married for 71 years. Mr. Stroud was a brother-in-law of Capt. C.C. Hightower and related to the Stroud family of this vicinity.
