Final Rites For
Miss Pilkenton, 89
Funeral services for Miss Perla Pilkenton, 89, of Molena, were held Saturday 
at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Williams officiating and 
interment in the church cemetery.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge 
of arrangements.
Miss Pilkenton died on Friday morning, December 6, 1974, at the Upson County Hospital.  
The native Upsonian, was one of the oldest members of the Mt. Olive Church.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Pilkenton, Molena; three sisters, 
Mrs. Alma Hearn, College Park, Mrs. Jewell Jones, Molena, and 
H.H. Brandenburg, Concord; several nieces and nephews also survive.
