Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, January 15, 1897 Mr. W.M. Redding Dies As we go to press we learn that Mr. W.M. Redding who’s illness was announced on the outside page*, died at his home at 9 o’clock last night, after an illness of only a few days. Mr. Redding is well known to the people of Zebulon and Pike County. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. C.F. Redding, of this place. Mr. Redding lived in Zebulon up to a few years ago, where he conducted a mercantile business. He was superintendent of the Baptist Sunday school for a number of years and was also a member of that church. His death carried sadness to many homes. He leaves a wife and several children. The interment will occur at the Baptist church tomorrow at 10 o’clock. The Journal deeply sympathizes with the family in their irreparable loss. *W.M. Redding is confined to his bed at his home near Lifsey with a severe spell of LaGrippe.
