Atlanta Constitution, 18 November 1870
DEATH OF COLONEL JAMES N. RAMSEY, OF COLUMBUS.-Colonel of the First Georgia 
Volunteer Regiment in the late war, he was well known in Georgia.  He died of 
congestion of the brain on Wednesday. the 9th instant.
