                              Mr. Horton
 SCOTT---Pearlie Horton, 63, died Friday near Scott. Services will be at 3pm 
Sunday in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will be in 
Poplar Springs Cemetery in Johnson County. The Rev. Duel Keene and the Rev. R. 
W. Sapp will officiate.
 A lifelong resident of Johnson County, Mr. Horton was a retired painter and 
carpenter.
 Survivors include his wife, Iris Foskey Horton of Scott; three sisters, Mary 
Etta Johnson, Juanita Gardner, and Lottie Miller, all of Dublin; and two 
brothers, Euthon Horton of Scott and Preston Horton of Dublin.
 Pallbearers will be Joel Miller, Ronnie Miller, Gaston Foskey, Thermon 
Foskey, remus Foskey, and Willie Hatcher.
 

Additional Comments:
Pearlie was born 12-2-1916 to Morris Horton and Arphelia Foskey. Georgia death 
certificate #008288.
