This indenture, made the 27th day of January, one thousand eight hundred and 
ten between James Martin of Bryan County and Abraham Giger, Felix Giger, Elijah 
Martin, and Stephen Reigs of Bulloch County and State of Georgia of the one 
part, and John Hendrick of Wilkes County and State aforesaid of the other part, 
WITNESSETH that the said James Martin, Abraham Giger, Felix Giger, Elijah 
Martin, and Stephen Reigs for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred 
and fifty dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt of which they do hereby 
acknowledge, hath bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell, 
and deliver to him, the said John Hendrick, all that tract or Lot of Land 
situate, lying, and being in the County of Randolph, formerly Baldwin and 
Twelfth district, known by number fifty eight in said District, having such 
marker and shape as appears by a Plat of the same, is bounded by Lot number 39, 
Lot number 59, Lot number 91, and by Lot number 57 and lying on Falling Creek, 
TO HAVE and TO HOLD the above sold land and premises with all and singular, the 
privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, 
unto the said John Hendrick, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns 
forever against the said James Martin, Abraham Giger, Felix Giger, Elijah 
Martin, and Stephen Reigs and their heirs, executors, and administrators and 
assigns and against all claimants demand of any other person or persons 
whatsoever do and shall forever defend. IN TESTIMONY whereof, they, James 
Martin, Abraham Giger, Felix Giger, Elijah Martin, and Stephen Reigs, have 
hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written.
