The Church was moved to Jewell, Georgia in 1894. Burials were conducted into the 1930's. Only five markers remain for viewing. Directions: Difficult to reach. The cemetery is landlocked by Plum Creek timber lands. From Sparta, take Highway 16 to Jewell, Georgia. Turn left on Jewell-Mayfield road. go approximately 1 1/4 miles to road on left with yellow bar gate. Walk up road 3/8 mile to cemetery.
