Additional Comments:
Elbert Co. marriage records show Eli Ayers and Mary M. Ashworth were married on 
18 Dec 1870. The informant on the death certificate was his son George 
Washington Ayers who married on 14 Sep 1902 in Elbert Co. to Georgia Pulliam. 
The book "Eavenson-Strickland and Allied Families" by Sexta E. Strickland, pub. 
1933, indicates that Susannah Eavenson, born 4 Jan 1784, married John 
Higginbotham and had children 1. Mary who married Morgan Ayers and 2. Eli who
married an Allgood. Susannah Eavenson was the daughter of Rev. Sol. Eli 
Eavenson and wife Rachel Seal. While there is an Eli Ayers buried at Concord 
Church, according to birthdates and wife shown in the cemetery book, he was 
not the Eli shown in this death certificate, even though the death certificate 
states he was buried at Concord Church.
