Dr. James Ramsey will officiate. A native of Welch, LA, her parents were John and Katie McCollister. Prior to World War II, Mrs. Lynch served in the Red Cross Motor Corp. in Macon, GA. During the war, Mrs. Lynch lived in Green Cove Springs, FL. After the war, Mrs. Lynch moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 24 years and superintendent of the two year old department for 24 years and served on the flower ministry for 24 years. Survivors include Fred Lynch, husband; Bunny, Jeanette, Barbara and Trisha, daughters; Michele, Melissa, Jerry, Heather, Hope, Kim, Kathy and Robin, grandchildren; Hunter, Jacob, Noah, Brittany, Daniel and Jaycie, great- grandchildren. The family requested that donations be given to Albany Rescue Mission for "The Homebound Ministry," in Evelyn's memory. Evelyn fed 56 families with her personal monies the month of September, 2002, because she believed in her husband's ministry. One hundred percent of these monies will be spent for food and supplies for these hungry, homebound and disabled families.
