Charles Edward Hall, 73, of Springfield Drive, Albany, GA,  died March 2, 2007 
after a short illness with cancer. His funeral service will be conducted Monday 
at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Ron Perry will officiate.  
Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Geneva County, AL, Mr. Hall was raised in Columbus, GA and after 
serving in the Air Force during the Korean War, he moved to Albany in 1955.  He 
was the business manager for the IBEW for fifteen years and was employed with 
Georgia Electric Company for thirty years, retiring in 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Hall of Albany, GA, a son and his wife, Wade 
and Karen Hall of Madison, GA, a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Brett 
Kirkland of Albany, GA, two sisters, Ann Cato and Sara Whitman both of 
Columbus, GA, a brother, Jimmy Hall of Columbus, GA, four grandchildren, 
Jessica Hall and Charles Tyler Hall both of Madison, GA and Kayla Kirkland and 
Courtney Kirkland both of Albany, GA.
