JOHNSON, Andrew--Donated By:  Ginny BREWTON 
1800-1852; Andrew Johnson was the founder of Stone Mountain, GA.  
His hotel there was a major tourist attraction.

JOHNSON, Andrew First Hotel--Donated By:  Ginny BREWTON 
Andrew's first hotel at the base of Stone Mountain near the present location of the 
Park Administration Building.  It later burned down.  My grandmother, Ida Johnson Britt, 
liked to point out the location of the old hotel.

The Sycamore Grill--Donated By:  Ginny BREWTON 
Andrew Johnson's Hotel in Stone Mountain, now "The Sycamore Grill".  
This building is located on a lot by the railroad tracks in downtown Stone Mountain.  
A portion of an interior wall has been opened to reveal the unusual construction materials.  
By the way, the food here  is delicious!  Be sure to ask for a printed history of the hotel.
