Going south on Atlanta Rd, cross 285, take left on 1st light (Brown Lane). Take immediate left on Log Cabin Drive. Church is less than a mile on the left. From the beginning the aim of The Log Cabin Community Sunday School has been to provide a meeting place for the community - a place to study and worship together...a friendly spirit...an atmosphere of reverence. Denominational lines have never been magnified, neither have they been belittled. It was simply taken for granted, when the Cabin started, that all who came, met with a common purpose-to worship God, each accocrding to the dictates of his own heart. It is the same today. PLAQUE INSCRIPTION Log Cabin Community Sunday School was organized in 1912 as an Interdenominational Sunday School in the neighborhood, settlers were few. At first the small group met in the log cabin located a few feet west of this building. In 1919, a larger log cabiin was erected and used until replaced by this stone structure in 1949. Additional Comments: Annual Homecoming is held the the first Sunday in June.
