MACON - Mrs. Ella M. Code, 72, passed away October 13, 2007 at her home. 
Services were held at 1 P.M., Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Lizzie Chapel 
Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ronald G. 
Toney officiated -Mrs. Code was the daughter of the late Mr. Leonard Jordan 
and the late Mrs. Mary Jordan Card. -Survivors include her husband, Charlie C. 
Code, Sr.; her son, Charlie C. Code, Jr. (Miriam); her daughters, Angela G. 
Code and Valerie C. Peek; sisters, Gloria A. Height, Thelma Jordan, and Marva 
Griffin (John); brothers, Benjamin F. Card (Alfreda), Fredrick E. Card, Travis 
L. Card, Charles Jordan and Felix Jordan; three grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. -The family may be 
contacted at 835 Inverness Avenue. -Bentley and Sons Funeral Home, Macon
