NELSON Julius E. Nelson, 81, of Chipley, died in the Washington County hospital Sunday afternoon. He was born in Washington County, and was a fetired merchant and farmer. Mr. Nelson was a member of the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Chipley, with the Rev. George Gay officiating, and burial will be in the New Orange Cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Viola Nelson; two daughters, Mrs. John Hightower of New York, N.Y., Mrs. Velda Sapp of Chipley; seven sons, James Frederick Nelson, of Lakeland, Inge G., Carl J., and Lingo H. Nelson all of Panama City, Robert E. Nelson and Vernon Nelson both of Pensacola, Vernon Nelson with the U. S. Navy in Scotland. He had 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. K. V. Bush of Stapleton, Ala., Mrs. J. M. Scott Fernandia Beach, Fla., Mrs. Marie Teal of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Fieta Harper and Mrs. Annie Mae Hawk of St. Petersburg; three brothers, P. D. Nelson of Macon, Ga., Bill and Brian Nelson of Chipley. BLACKBURN FUNERAL HOME CHIPLEY
