A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 27 in Doctor's Creek Baptist Church in Walterboro with Dr. W. Steven Brown officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery, directed by the BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. Mr. O'Quinn was born in Colleton County, a son of the late John Gary O'Quinn and Lillian Fender O'Quinn. He was a retired Postal Clerk and retired after 20 years as a Tech Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Doctor's Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ingeburg O'Quinn of Orlando, Florida, a step son and his wife, James and Iris McGruddy of Clermont, Florida, a brother and sister in law, Vernon and Hazel O'Quinn of Walterboro, a sister Ena O. Reed of Walterboro, a sister and brother in law, Doris O. and J. W. Crider, Sr. of Bamberg, and a sister in law, Rachel O'Quinn of Edisto Island. He was predeceased by a sister, Willie Mae Smoak and by a brother, John Quillie O'Quinn. (Published Oct 24, 2001) The Post and Courier
