McCall Cemetery (Private), NW 36th Place, Jennings, 
Hamilton County, Florida

McCall Cemetery is located on NW 36th Place in Jennings on property currently 
owned by Cleveland Selph, Jr.  Hamilton County Property Appraiser Parcel 4959-000 
in Section 35 Twp 2N Range 11E.

From I-75 west of Jasper take Exit 460 onto SR 6 West and travel 10.4 miles turn 
right onto NW CR 143 and travel 4.1 miles and turn right onto NW 36th Place (unpaved/graded road).  
Travel NW 36th Place for 5/10 mile.  The cemetery will be on the hill to the left under an oak 
tree in crop/pastureland owned by Cleveland Selph, Jr.  The cemetery has been decimated; 
monument footers and remains of headstones in a pile, some appear to be buried.  
The only visible headstone is that of M. G. McCall b. 11 July 1806 d. 27 Oct 1875.  
The remainder of the entries was extracted from Cemeteries of Hamilton County by 
Winnie Smith Hodges.  Get permission from Cleveland Selph to enter the property.

McCall Cemetery was first published in 1991 by Winnie Smith Hodges in Cemeteries of 
Hamilton County.  On February 16, 2009, accompanied by Marie Cantlin,  Lesleigh Laite Butts 
photographed the cemetery and the one visible headstone.

Additional Comments:
As of 2/16/2009 M.G. McCall is the only visible headstone remaining; it's 
lying on the ground.
