The cemetery was located in Section 6, Twp 1N, Range 13E.  
The cemetery is no longer in existence as it was destroyed 
by construction.  Dempsey was located where Scottish Inn 
Motel is situated on SR 6 at I-75.  There were two 
headstones (Andrew J. and M.E. Dempsey) reported by Winnie 
Smithy Hodges in her 1991 publication, Cemeteries of 
Hamilton County.  Winnie advised they were reportedly 
transferred to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. However, a 
survey of New Hope Cemetery did not find these two 
headstones.

Additional Comments:
Birth date on Andrew J. Dempsey was extracted from Veteran's Grave Registration 
Project sponsored by Military Department, State of Florida and The American 
Legion.
Those interred in this cemetery were reportedly moved to New Hope Baptist 
Church Cemetery.  However, they were not found in that survey.
