Territory of Florida Alachua County I do hereby Certify that Colonel Gad Humphrey this day produced me an Acknowledgement of Miss' R & W King for the amount of the above draft ($1500) 28th March 1836 I. Garrason Clk C.C. A.C. I do hereby Acknowledge and Certify that a mortgage given by Gad Humphrey to F.D. Newcomb on two Negroes to secure the payment of a sum of money, has been cancelled and paid in full by said Humphrey through me to Capt. W.M.
