Somerset Reed, departed this life Aug 13, 1885, aged 82 yrs 1 mo & 20 days; They who lie in Christ are blessed, Ours be then no thought of grieving, Quietly with their God they rest, All their toils and troubles lowing. Mary Ann, wife of Somerset Reed, departed this life Jun 31st 1866, aged 56 yrs 1 mo and 21 days, The toils of our life the cares of time no more the (illegible) day knows, (the rest of the inscription is below ground level). 5 or more other graves at this site with no markers and determined by the forest ranger by probing the ground for entombments. --
