Muller, a son of Armor L. and Maude Muller, was born at Lebanon, Kansas on January 29, 1910 and died July 19, 1975 at the age of 65 years. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home and died a few hours later at the Wray Community Hospital. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church with Rev. Charles Matthews officiating. Interment was at Grandview Cemetery. Clair Muller moved with his family to Wray in 1928 where he was associated with his father in the dairy business. On June 23 of the following year he was married to Virginia Orndorff at Colby, Kansas. To this union four children were born - Richard, Jack, Clarice Ann (Mrs Dale Brueggeman), and Duane. During all of the 47 years Mr Muller lived in Wray, he has been well-known and respected as a livestock dealer. He was associated for many years with his brother, Noah, in operating the Wray Sale barn which he later owned and operated independently. He was also a livestock buyer for the McCook Packing Company. He sold the Wray Sale Barn in 1956 but remained active in the livestock business. He worked for 14 years for the Yuma Liestock Auction and for the last five years he has worked for Ranchland Livestock Commission of Wray. He was a life long member of the Christian Church, serving as deacon, an elder and chairman of the Church Board and attened services faithfully. He was predeced in death by his brother Noah and Fred, a sister, Vaughn, and by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Virginia, son, Richard of Greeley, son Jack of Durango, daughter Clarice Ann Brueggeman of Wray, son Duane of Lamar, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and two sisters Lenna Ashby of Sterling and Emma Fleenor of Greeley. ================================================================= All files are contributed for use by the USGenWeb Archives Project (http://www.usgwarchives.org/).
