Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Wray. Rev. Robert Morgan and Rev. Hrry Bartholomew will officiate. Lenna Floris Ashby was born September 10, 1907 in Lebanon, Kansas to Armor and Maude (Weaver) Muller. She passed away May 10, 1988 at Logan County Hospital, Sterling. She graduated from Lebanon High School and was active in the Christian Church since she was 12 years old. In November of 1926 in Lebanon, Kansas she was married to Dale Wells. They moved to Wray in 1929 and Mr Wells, who was an auto dealer in Wray, died in January 1946. On July 9, 1951 in Fort Morgan she was married to James C. Ashby. After their marriage they moved to Sterling and had resided there ever since. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sterling, the Rebekah Lodge in Wray, the E.M.B. Club in Wray and a church group in Sterling. She is survived by her husband James C. Ashby of Sterling; her children, Norma Wagner of Sterling, Gene Wells of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Armor Wells of Sterling, Dale Wells of Sterling, Kent Wells of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Roberta Kelly of Sterling, Nancy Ashby of Las Vegas, Nevada, Janice Dermer of Aurora and Baird Ashby of Longmont; a sister Emma Johnson of Greeley, 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. ================================================================= All files are contributed for use by the USGenWeb Archives Project (http://www.usgwarchives.org/).
