Dad, I know Evelyn knew she was too sick to help you and take care of you anymore and suggested you go back to Bakersfield from San Jose three years ago so I could help take care of you. At first I did not want to take this on, but I knew I had to. Im not sorry, Dad. I made decisions, cleaned up a lot of messes and stopped to see you everyday. You would introduce me to others as your daughter, your decision maker, your 'not let me get lonesome person', and always 'his savior'. I tried to leave you with; I love you Dad. Now, I add, I miss you. Thank you for being a wonderful Dad, Granddad, and great-Granddad. Thank you Eli and Sue at Castlewood and Kern River Family Mortuary for helping me.
