Pastor Archie Hawkins will officiate. Violet was an extraordinary woman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who passed away November 28, 2004 in Bakersfield. She has now reunited with her parents, daughter, Sharon and her brother, Richard. Violet was born November 13, 1922 in Muscatine, Iowa. She moved to Bakersfield with her family in 1954. She enjoyed her job as a dispatcher for the Bakersfield Police Department for several years and retired following over ten years services as a secretary for the C.E. Natco chemical blending plant. She was actively involved with the Desk and Derrick Club. Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Alan Hedien; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Cindy Ingalls; grandchildren, Nick Ingalls, Jay Rostow, Rory Randall and wife, Dawn, Brian Randall, Laura Cunanan and husband, Carl, Alicia Peoples, Tim Overstreet, Victoria Kinego and husband, Joe, Lance and Jacob Osborne; her precious great-grandchildren, Destiny and Olivia Randall, Erica, Elli and Emma Cunanan, Tanner, Kyler and Brenner Overstreet and Claire Kinego. Her memory will also be treasured by numerous nieces and nephews. Nothing was more important to her than her family, and our grief is lessened by the knowledge that she continues to watch over us. She was always there for us and is still. Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to deceased.
