James Stafford Nale
July 11, 1914 August 7, 2004

Longtime Wasco resident James Nale passed away at his home in Wasco after a 
brief illness on August 7, 2004. 

Surviving Jim is his beloved wife, of 70 years, Clara. He is survived also by 
five grandchildren, Cheri Huebner, Randy Nale, Gregory Crawford, Lori Forney, 
and Jennifer Evans; ten great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Vernon Crawford. 
He was preceded in death by his son, James Nale; daughter, Wanda Crawford and 
daughter-in-law, LaVonne Nale.

Jim Nale spent most of his adult life in Kern County in the energy field. He 
retired as district manager from Petrolane Gas Company in 1981. He was an 
active member of the First Baptist Church of Wasco and was a founding board 
member of the Bakersfield Rescue Mission.

Graveside services will be held at Wasco Memorial Park, Thursday, August 12, 
2004, at 10 a.m., A memorial service will follow at Grace Community Church of 
Wasco, at 11 a.m.
