OBITUARIES:

MRS. WILLIAM E. PRINCE
   (Roanoke, Rt 2)  Mrs. Maude Caldwell Prince, age 73, wife of William E. 
Prince of Roanoke Rt. 3, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Junior 
Philpott, 409 Handley Avenue, Roanoke, at 8:30 Sunday evening, June 28.
   Mrs. Prince is survived by her husband; three sons, A. R. Prince of Roanoke 
Rt. 2, James D. Prince of Mableton, GA, and Garvis Prince of Atlanta; four 
daughters, Mrs. C. M. Kelly of Mableton, GA, Mrs. Ira Laney of Hickson, Tenn., 
Miss Bama Prince of Atlanta, and Mrs. Junior Philpott of Roanoke; 12 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother O. B. Caldwell of 
Roanoke.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Prince were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two 
o'clock from the Taylor's Cross Roads Church with J. C. Hunt and W. J. Spradlin 
as officiating ministers.  Interment was in the church cemetery, Quattlebaum's 
Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.

Lavicie Kirby.]
