HESTER, a respected widow who lived in Lowell, died November 9th, after a long illness, and was buried at Forester’s Chapel the following day. Rev. John DOLLAR conducted the funeral service. The deceased leaves three sons and two daughters. There has been a strange fatality in this family connection. Since the first of the year there has been five deaths in the Hester family. ------------------------------ A CARD ------------------------------ We wish to express our deepest appreciation of the many kindnesses shown us in our time of sorrow and loss when our dear mother, Mrs. Mary HESTER, was called to her reward. We can never forget these ministrations of love and sympathy. HER CHILDREN [Both from The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 15 Nov 1916, p.1] ------- There are no marked graves for Mary A.
