Howell Mrs. Minnie M. Howell, age 73, of Birmingham, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1982, at Baptist Medical Center-Montclair in Birmingham after a short illness. Mrs. Howell was a native of Randolph County, a retired employee of Walker's Department Store in Wedowee, and a member of the Eastern Star of Wedowee, the Extension Homemakers Club of New Hope, and Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, David J. Howell of Birmingham: one son, Harlon Howell of Birmingham; one sister, Mrs. Loette Kirby of Roanoke; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Howell were held at three o'clock Saturday afternoon at Liberty Grove Congregational Methodist Church, with the Rev. Earnest Lipham and the Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Howell were Rick Snider, Steve Wallace, Joe Walker, Donald Holder, Mike Whatley, and Tommy Whatley.
