Dalrymple (BOWDON, Ga.) John C. Dalrymple, 77, 3191 W. Hwy. 5, Bowdon, Ga., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 1985, in a Newnan hospital following an extended illness. Born in Randolph County, Ala., he was the son of the late Will and Nan Yancey Dalrymple. He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethel East Baptist Church. In 1927 he was married to the late Vonie Beulah Hendley Dalrymple, who preceded him in death on Aug. 9, 1984. Survivors include four sons, Curtis Dalrymple of Detroit, Mich., Amous Dalrymple and Lem Dalrymple, both of Woodland, Ala., and Elton Dalrymple of Ranburne, Ala.; one daughter, Jerlean Morris of Bowdon; one brother, Claud Dalrymple of Roanoke, Ala.; and 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 3, from Bethel East Baptist Church, the Rev. Ridley Parmer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers: T.P. Parmer, Charlie Brown, Earl Spradlin, Wilford Henderson, Ralph Parmer, and Frank Campbell.
