WEATHERS, Ruth, 89, of Roanoke died Saturday, July 30, 1994, at her residence in Roanoke; Mrs. Weathers was one of nine children born into one of Randolph County's oldest African-American families. Her parents were the late Mr. Mance and Mrs. Pearl Turner Finch. She was the widow of the late Alvin Weathers. WHITE, Lorenza, 56, of Roanoke died Thursday, April 5, 2001, in Park City, Kentucky; Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine White of Roanoke.
