Survivors include his father, Willie Frank Sheppard of Roanoke; his mother, Ms. Florestine Askew of Roanoke; his grandmother, Ms. Mattie Mae Askew of Bowdon, Ga. Kenny Sheppard was born in Roanoke Oct. 19, 1978. He was affectionately called "Hunk." Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Bessie Sheppard, Freddy Askew and James Otis Wilson. WILLIAMS, James Otis Sr. (GRAHAM) Services for James Otis Williams Sr., 87, of Graham were Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at 2 p.m. CDT at Bethenia United Methodist Church, Graham, with the Rev. Hepburn officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, Oct. 3, at his residence. 1
