OBIT NOTES BURIAL AT RANDOLPH MEMORY GARDENS: Onward Patrick Holloway (NEWELL) Services for Onward Patrick Holloway, 76, of Newell were Tuesday, Mar. 26, 2002, at 2 p.m. Benefield Funeral Chapel, Wedowee, with the Rev. Douglas Haynes officiating. Burial was at Randolph Memory Gardens. Mr. Holloway died Saturday, Mar. 23, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. A Randolph County native, Mr. Holloway was born Feb. 17, 1926, son of Pleasant Mann and Myrtle Bailey Holloway. He was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two wives, Lottie Traylor Holloway and Mavis McDaniel Holloway; and a son, Michael Holloway.
