I, JAMES JACKSON, Sr. of the State of Alabama and the County of Perry, being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory knowing that [it] is appointed for all men once to die, Praise be to god almighty God for the same. I do make and constitute this my last will and testament in manner and form following: Viz.-First, I give and bequeath unto my only beloved brother GREEN JACKSON ten Negroes. To wit, JERRY, JOB, PALL, DICE, LAVIE, BOLDEN, SILSY, CHARLES, DANIELS and ANTHONY forever his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns- I also give and bequeath unto my said brother GREEN JACKSON one quarter section of land laying in Section No. 33, Township no. 19, Range No. 10 Northeast Quarter of the same and the East half of the Southwest quarter of the same Section, Township, Range & in the District of Land aforesaid Cahawba, except one hundred acres which disposed of otherwise to hold al and singular the same forever his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns. I also give and be- queath unto my said brother GREEN JACKSON all my farming utensils of every kind or sort for-ever and one wagon and an ox cart and all my stock of every kind and sort-saws and all my household and kitchen furniture to hold all and singular the same forever, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns. I also give unto Brother HENRY JACKSON'S heirs the sum of two dollars. I also give unto the heirs of Brother DRURY JACKSON, the sum of two dollars. I also give unto the heirs of sister ABIGAIL DUNCAN the sum of two dollars. I also give and bequeath unto sister ANN EVANS' heirs the sum of two dollars. I also give unto the heirs of Brother JOHN JACKSON the sum of two dollars. I also give unto the heirs of ELSA KIMBRELL the sum of two and Lastly, I constitute, mark and ordain my beloved Brother GREEN JACKSON and A. G. JACKSON the sole executor of this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly disavow, revoke and disannul all and ever former testaments, wills, legalese and executors by me made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the tenth day of June one thousand eighteen hundred and twenty-three, signed, sealed, published and delivered by the testator as his last will and testament in presence of as who a his request and in his presents have subscribed our names thereto.
