Hearn died at her home near Goat Rock, Ala., Thursday, 1:44 p.m. after a long illness. She was 40 Years of age at the time of her death and was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides her grief stricken husband, she is survived by two daughters, Misses Ada and Verna Hearn, and one son, Mister A.J. Hearn, Jr. She is also survived by her father, M.V. Carroll of Lanette, Ala., and four sisters, Mrs. J.W. Campbell of Lams, SC, Mrs. P.W. Hood of Smiths Station, Ala., and Mrs. J.H. Carpenter and Mrs. W.H. Parks of Columbus (GA). The funeral took place at Goat Rock Church at 11 o'clock Friday. Rev. Stuart conducted the services, and the interment was in the family burying ground at ___. The following gentlemen were pall bearers: Mssrs. W.B. Hearn, Lafayette Hearn, J.H. Carpenter, W.H. Parks, P.W. Hood, and R.L. Hood.
