Mrs. Girley Carter

ALBERTVILLE—Mrs. Girlie Carter, 61, Albertville Route 5, died Monday at 11:30 
p.m. at City Hospital, Guntersville.

Funeral services were to be held today at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Church 
with the Revs. William Ashley and Ebb Cryar officiating. Burial was to be in 
the adjoining cemetery with Adams Brown-Service directing.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis L. Carter, a son, Kermit L. Carter; 
nine daughters, Mrs. Bud Morrow, Huntsville; Mrs. Claudie Brown, Albertville 
Route 5; Mrs. W. E. Cryar, Mrs. Ludie Upton, Miss Flora Carter, Mrs. Verlon 
Dodd, all of Albertville; Mrs. Jim Morrow, Arab; Mrs. Lois Bonds, Pensacola, 
Fla; Mrs. R. V. Campbell, Brownsville, Tenn.; a brother, Boss Bonds, 
Guntersville Route 2; a sister Mrs. Pearlie Sampson, Guntersville; 25 
grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Marshall County.
