Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Glencoe Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Revs. A. C. Acton and George Warren officiating. Burial will be in Reids Cemetery with Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Robbie Sue Bundrum White; his father, L. Z. White, Altoona; his foster mother, Mrs. Willie DeJernette, Gadsden; two foster sisters, Bella Sue DeJernett, Gadsden; and Mrs. James Lay, Gadsden; and his grandfather, Homer Smith, Boaz. Active pallbearers are Lenford Nabors, James Collier, Ed Scarbrough, Ray Clevenger, Wallace Nabors, Dickie Daper, Ronnie Rampey, Dwight Benson, James Chambers and J. Daugherty. Honorary pallbearers will be all personal friends. An assistant state engineer with the Alabama State Highway Department for several months, he was a member of the Glencoe Cumberland Presbyterian church and a graduate of Glencoe High School. He as a native of Boaz and a resident of Etowah County most of his life. The body is to remain at the residence of his foster mother from Thursday morning and will lie in state at the church for an hour prior to the service. Additional Comments: Submitter not related.
